The decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (HCCJ) has been published in the Official Gazette, ruling that the limitation period for financial compensation for unused leave runs from the termination of the employment relationship, and that the right to compensation remains valid even after the 18-month carry-over period has expired, if the employer has not actually provided the opportunity to take the leave.
