Ilinca is part of our dispute resolution team, where she assists in commercial, civil, and administrative cases, thus gaining experience in various sectors of activity. In addition, she is a LL.M. candidate in International Trade Law at the University of Bucharest.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- foreign shareholders in a cross-border profit-sharing dispute under Romanian corporate law, including the analysis and interpretation of jurisdiction clauses and applicable substantial rules;
- a leading company in the healthcare products sector in defending against allegations of antitrust practices in a dispute involving material and moral damages exceeding EUR 1 million;
- a long-standing player on the Romanian insurance market in arbitration proceedings against foreign reinsurers, involving claims exceeding EUR 200 million;
- a prominent group of insurance companies in matters concerning damage quantification and client compensation, including issues related to an insured risk involving a large-scale fire at a commercial property.
