Madalina is a member of our Commercial team, in which she provides day-to-day assistance on contracts, employment and consumer protection issues across various industries. Furthermore, she has provided advice on environmental protection and competition issues in the framework of due diligences.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- a leading Central European energy group in conducting a due diligence on contracts and environmental matters in view of its acquisition of a Romanian wind farm;
- an international player on the tobacco market in relation to the necessary conditions and authorizations for the placing on the market of special regime products, as well as in relation to other consumer protection requirements in view of its launching of an online labour force recruitment platform;
- one of the major business software providers in Central and Eastern Europe before the British Courts in relation to a breach of warranty in its acquisition by Turkish investors;
- two well-known companies on the Romanian leasing market during investigations conducted by the competition authorities.
