A legislative proposal recently filed with the Senate aims to amend Article 147(1) of the Labour Code by expanding the categories of employees eligible for additional paid leave of at least three business days. Specifically, it is proposed that single-parent employees be included in this category, entitling them to the additional days of leave alongside the existing categories (i.e., employees working in difficult, dangerous, or harmful conditions, the blind, people with disabilities, and young people under 18).
