Georgeta Gavriloiu (Competition and Energy and natural resources) and George Trantea (Dispute resolution) have been asked to join the partnership.
Cristina Tudoran (Labour law and Dispute resolution) and Silviu Vasile (Competition) have been promoted as counsels.
Andreea Bănică (M&A), Alin Grapă (Dispute resolution), Bianca Chera (Labour law) and Irina Suătean (Dispute resolution and arbitration) join the firm’s team of senior associates.

Georgeta Gavriloiu has over 25 years of experience in competition law, in both the public and the private sector. Georgeta has vast expertise in assisting and representing clients in economic concentration control proceedings as well as in the application of state aid measures in various sectors, including oil & gas, financial services, construction materials and consumer goods. Furthermore, Georgeta assists a representative portfolio of clients on regulatory aspects in the energy and natural resources area.
George Trantea has over 14-years of experience in dispute resolution projects. George specialises in public law litigations (fiscal, administrative, fair competition) and has a significant experience in assisting and representing clients in complex commercial disputes as well as in domestic and international arbitration cases. George is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2008 and of the Paris Bar since 2013 and has an LL.M in private international law and commercial international law from the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Cristina Tudoran specialises in dispute resolution and labour law. In terms of labour law assistance, Cristina’s expertise includes legal advice on complex restructuring, TUPE impact on transactions and subsequent integrations, litigations with the unions and sensitive negotiations with the top management. On the dispute resolution side of her activity, Cristina is mainly involved in litigations that regard labour law conflicts, fiscal and administrative disputes, consumer protection and construction law. Moreover, Cristina has relevant experience in assisting and representing clients in international arbitrations.
Silviu Vasile specialises in competition law as well as in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. He has significant experience in assisting and representing clients in investigation proceedings conducted by the competition authority, regarding merger notifications, preparation of compliance programmes or compliance assistance in the ordinary course of business. Silviu also assists a representative portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients on complex projects involving regulatory issues and the development of legally compliant and appropriate contractual structures in the implementation of business strategies.
Andreea Bănică specialises in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law. Andreea also has relevant experience in assisting clients on capital markets related matters.
Alin Grapă specialises in dispute resolution and his main practice areas include insolvency proceedings and civil and administrative disputes. Alin also has relevant experience in assisting and representing clients in the areas of public procurement, labour law, personal data protection and enforcement.
Bianca Chera specialises in labour law, including employment litigations related issues She also has relevant experience in civil law, commercial law and intellectual property law.
Irina Suătean specialises in dispute resolution and her main areas of practice include commercial, administrative, and real estate law disputes. Irina also has relevant experience in international arbitrations as well as in litigations before foreign courts.
