As of 1 March 2024, Rebecca Marina (Banking and financial services) has been promoted to Counsel and Andrei Konya (Mergers and acquisitions), Irina Oprea (Commercial) and Roxana Roșca (Competition Law) join the team of Senior lawyers.

With over 9 years of experience in the financial services market, Rebecca Marina has been involved in a wide range of financial sector acquisitions, multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, restructurings and transactions involving regulatory issues relating to credit and insurance institutions, fintechs and payment services entities.
Andrei Konya specialises in mergers and acquisitions and has relevant experience in company law. Andrei has assisted clients in numerous successful transactions in various industries, with a focus on the financial services, healthcare, IT&C and energy sectors.
Irina Oprea has extensive experience in defining, organising and verifying processes leading to legal compliance, as well as in various regulated sectors such as data protection, consumer protection, media and telecom, environmental law, regulatory and commercial law advice.
Roxana Roșca specialises in competition law, providing legal assistance in various investigations conducted by the competition authority, in relation to merger notifications, in preparing compliance programmes or in day-to-day competition law assistance.
Following these promotions, the Filip & Company team has 105 members, including 14 partners, 4 counsels, 16 senior lawyers and 45 associates.
