Ionut is part of the Real Estate department and is a qualified lawyer specializing in a wide range of matters within the real estate practice area, providing strategic guidance and comprehensive support. He was involved in complex share deal and asset deal transactions as well as due diligence procedures across the industrial, retail, and renewable energy sectors. He also provides assistance on broad non-transactional real estate matters. Ionut has relevant previous experience in the Romanian insolvency field.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- a company active in the agro-industrial field in several complex business transfer transactions involving the transfer of real estate assets owned by the company across Romania, the relevant employees and the connected business;
- a major DYI stores chain in Romania throughout the transactional process (due diligence and transactional assistance) in relation to the prospective sale of its business in Romania, including continuous assistance on extensive aspects pertaining to various urbanism, construction and property matters and in relation to lease matters;
- a major company in the automotive sector in relation to a restructuring process which involved a complex structure for the transfer of the real estate assets owned by the company;
- a major residential real estate developer in Bucharest on various business matters, including assistance on the execution of construction agreements for the development of its projects, as well as continuous assistance spanning from urbanism matters and permitting process to contract management and execution of property transfer agreements.
