Ana-Maria’s core activity focuses on providing legal assistance on labor and commercial law matters, including representation in labor disputes. She assisted local and international clients operating in IT&C, telecommunications, electronics, tobacco, automotive, pharmaceuticals and retail industries, in connection with various employment issues, such as restructuring projects, complex disciplinary cases, transfers of undertakings, as well as on general commercial matters and contracts.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- several clients in the tobacco, IT&C and automotive industries in reducing requirements and implement best market practices; their workforce by implementing restructuring projects and economic dismissals;
- several clients in the process of reviewing their labor agreements, internal regulations and policies to align their content with the changing legal
- several clients in shaping flexible contractual arrangements with independent contractors and mitigating risks arising therefrom;
- clients in industries such as retail, tobacco with labor disputes against current or former employees, in relation to disciplinary matters, overtime compensation or termination of employment;
- a leading company in the retail sector, in connection with immigration related formalities concerning seconded foreign employees.
