About
Elena is a member of our Banking & Financial Services team. She assists clients on various banking and finance matters, including banking and financial regulatory issues, financing transactions, M&A transactions in the financial services sector, and the development of innovative financial products and services.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- a Swiss bank, in relation to umbrella financing and related security arrangements, including a pledge agreement governed by Romanian law, for an international company active in the trading of petroleum products;
- one of the largest multinational fast-food chains, in connection with the securing of multi-million euro financing facilities and the amendment of existing credit lines, including the negotiation of financing documents and the related security arrangements;
- one of the largest state-owned national energy companies in Romania in relation to the negotiation and entry into a multi-million euro credit facility;
- a syndicate of five banks in relation to a sustainability linked financing arrangement of a Romanian operational leasing company, including in relation to the establishment of new accordion facilities by the lenders and the refinancing of the initial financing agreement;
- The Romanian Ministry of Finance in its derivatives transactions under ISDA Master Agreements for the management of public debt.
