According to the initiators of the amendment proposal, there are three objectives to be achieved, namely:
- To include in the COR the skills and competences required for each occupation, as already included in ESCO, thus facilitating the workforce recruitment;
- To update the COR with the new ESCO occupations;
- To actively involve the Ministry of Labour in supplementing and updating the COR.
The update would be carried out ex officio, at the latest 3 months from the date of each ESCO update, or at the request of those concerned. The first update would take place no later than 6 months from the date on which the legislative proposal enters into force.
