The main changes include:
- The framework internship agreement is amended;
- The provisions relating to the evaluation committee and assignment of its tasks to mentors were eliminated;
- The trainee’s obligation to draw up an internship report summarising the activities he or she carried out during secondment was eliminated;
- The trainee’s evaluation report will be drawn up by the mentor and not by the evaluation committee (as was previously the case) and will be approved by the head of the department in which the trainee is working;
- The internship certificate/attestation will be issued by the employer on the basis of a report drawn up by the mentor and approved by the head of the department or, where appropriate, by the committee responsible for settling appeals;
- The trainee’s right to receive the evaluation report within 3 business days from the date the mentor finalised it, and the right to challenge such report were acknowledged.
