Sailing on different types of waters is always easier when you have a mentor to rely on. This mix of challenges and support, the exchange of ideas and experiences it facilitates are of essence in the development of a career, particularly in the field of law.
At Filip & Company, since our very establishment, we have managed to create a professional development-centred programme for each team member, and the promotions we announce today are the product of this programme.
Starting this spring, Monica Stătescu (Corporate, M&A) and Olga Niță (Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets) have joined the partnership. Mihaela Ispas (Real Estate and Projects) and Răzvan Ionescu (Dispute Resolution, Restructuring and Insolvency) have been promoted to counsels. Dragoș Iordache (Competition), Loredana Cristea (Dispute Resolution) Rebecca Marina (Banking and Financial Services) and Roxana Diaconu (Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets) joined the senior associates’ team.
“The promotions decided by Filip & Company are the result of the recognition awarded by both clients and colleagues to the talent and contributions of exceptional lawyers and bear the quality mark of our mentoring, professional development and ongoing collaboration programmes. Each of the promoted colleagues has been with our firm for at least 5 years, 6 of them have carried out or completed their internship with us, and 5 of them have participated in the summer schools organised by us.
They show us every day that it is just as important to build trustworthy relationships with our clients, to do our job very well as part of the team, to grow the next generations of lawyers and develop a variety of professional skills and techniques that keep us relevant and highly proficient in a changing world”, said Cristina Filip, managing partner of Filip & Company.
