Camelia has experience in domestic and cross-border banking and finance transactions for major clients in a wide range of areas, such as real estate finance, trade finance, aviation finance, mortgage finance, secured lending, municipality financing.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- a syndicate of five banks in a EUR 127 mn financing granted to Green Group in Romania, as well as the relevant post-closing work and subsequent amendments;
- a private equity fund in connection with an EUR 22,000,000 financing entered into with Banca Comerciala Romana S.A. for the purposes of financing the acquisition of a company active on the dental services market;
- Garrett Motion in connection with the USD 300 million exit financing related to the Chapter 11 restructuring and the subsequent increases thereof;
- Electrica, in relation to the envisaged financing in the context of the potential acquisition of the distribution subsidiary of a regional group active in the energy sector and several other potential acquisitions, for a value of up to RON 750 mln.;
- a large European private equity fund in relation to an EUR 23,000,000 financing and acquisition transaction at the group level of one of the most important CEE investment companies, with the current core market in Romania;
- the leader of a large group in the agribusiness sector with the negotiation of a RON 30.5 mln. (approx. EUR 6 mln.) and EUR 26.7 mln. facilities agreement for the purposes of, among others, refinancing the existing debt and acquiring new farms in Romania;
- Banca Transilvania, with the conclusion of a synthetic securitisation package with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF), for a total amount of up to RON 2 billion;
- Banca Transilvania in the acquisition of OTP Bank Romania (a top 10 Romanian bank), OTP Leasing and OTP Asset Management, along with their subsidiaries, for a value of EUR 347,500,000;
- Alpha Bank, in relation to the acquisition of the retail operations of Orange Money Romania;
- Victoriabank, the subsidiary of Banca Transilvania, in connection with the acquisition of BCR Chisinau;
