Bogdan is a member of our Dispute Resolution and Arbitration team and his current main practice areas include commercial and administrative litigation. He is also particularly interested in arbitration and has been involved in complex arbitration proceedings. Bogdan was also involved in complex commercial litigations, some of which received great media and press coverage. Multiple projects in which Bogdan was involved, required exploring new paths and identifying innovative solutions.
Highlights of his activity include assisting:
romania in an ICSID arbitration related to the petrochemical industry and involving allegations of breach of the Energy Charter Treaty;
a relevant company from the insurance sector in multiple arbitration proceedings, which also involve foreign jurisdictions, initiated by the company against reinsurers who breached reinsurance agreements concluded with the client;
a Romanian authority in multiple disputes initiated by an important insurance company which had its operating license revoked as a result of breaching the regulations;
a client in a dispute where it claims compensation from the Romanian State for the damage caused by judicial errors committed by the courts; and
a real estate developer in a litigation against a stakeholder, having as main focus the constitution of dual class stock.
