Mara is a Romanian law qualified lawyer and a member of our Dispute Resolution team. Her main practice areas include civil, commercial and administrative litigations.
Mara has advised clients in relation to various matters such as commercial, corporate, healthcare & pharma, tax, as well as insolvency matters.
She has been involved in complex litigation proceedings in which she acted for both Romanian and international clients. Mara has also been engaged in insolvency&restructuring projects, representing various creditors in insolvency and/or bankruptcy proceedings of their debtors.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- a Romanian sanitation market leader in a variety of commercial and corporate disputes, including legal assistance in several matters regarding its day-to-day business operations;
- a global biopharmaceutical company in a dispute regarding consumer protection aspects in pharmaceutical field;
- an important company of hazardous and non-hazardous medical waste management in a dispute regarding the recovery of receivables;
- a major biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of biopharmaceutical products in a dispute regarding the annulment of administrative acts in connection with the procedure for listing compensated medicinal products;
- an international group in the recovery of receivables amounting over EUR 100 milion in insolvency proceedings of several companies active in the green energy sector;
- several clients in debt recovery efforts, including through enforcement procedures.
