About
Eduard is a Romanian law qualified lawyer experienced dispute resolution and arbitration, having a particular acumen for corporate disputes and high-stakes commercial litigation. Further, Eduard has also assisted clients in intellectual property litigation and consultancy matters. Eduard is undergoing his PhD studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, where he is also an assistant professor of civil law and intellectual property.
Highlights of his activity include assisting:
- a major financial institution in the annulment of fines imposed by the Competition council;
- a major Romanian insurance company in multiple arbitration claims against re-insurers with an aggregate value of over EUR 160 million;
- the shareholder of a company in an arbitration claim in value of EUR 1.5 million regarding the alleged breach of a non-compete clause inserted in a share purchase agreement;
- one of the biggest Romanian producers of veterinary farmaceutical products in several shareholders disputes;
- one of the biggest agribusiness companies in Romania in a dispute regarding the exclusion of a shareholder from a company;
- the buyer in a share purchase agreement in a dispute regarding the annulment of such agreement.
