Irina is a dedicated lawyer in several areas of law, including personal data protection, consumer protection, commercial contracts, and other regulatory and compliance matters. She regularly provides advice on day-to-day commercial aspects to a large and complex range of international and domestic clients, including environmental protection and other regulatory matters.
She advised on a wide range of business fields, as well as implementing privacy rules in marketing, pharma, utilities services, software services, various products retail, to list just a few. She benefits also from a background expertise in employment and commercial practice.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- the largest oil and gas producer in Southeast Europe in implementing a complex GDPR project, involving among others, assistance in data mapping process, drafting first records of processing, drafting of templates for implementation;
- a major aviation transport services company for integrated GDPR assessment and implementation project;
- a leading international robotic process automation vendor on a complex GDPR implementation project;
- a major international coffee producer and retailer for both Romanian and Dutch companies in a tailored GDPR compliance project including all phases from interviews with relevant departments to perform data mapping for the first records of processing, to gap analysis and action plan for implementation and implementation documentation;
- one of the largest medical services providers in various regulatory matters, including reviewing various services contracts, representing the client before the authorities to obtain certain accreditations;
- one of the largest jewellery companies in drafting employment contracts and reviewing internal policies, the forms and procedures to be used in connection with disciplinary issues;
- day-to-day environmental matters, including assessment of environmental risks with respect to waste management requirements, in connection with the largest Romanian household appliances producer and one of the largest refrigerators’ producer in Europe.
