Malina is a member of our Dispute Resolution team and has particular experience in matters relating to the energy sector, both from a pre-contentious perspective and in connection with litigation, as well as in commercial disputes. She was involved in complex share deal and asset deal transactions in the energy sector, as well as due diligence procedures across the renewable energy sector.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- one of the most prominent players in the Romanian energy market in multiple commercial litigations related to the performance of the energy agreements in disputes surpassing EUR 25 million;
- an important player in the energy marker in a landmark dispute concerning the practice of acquiring green certificates in Romania, as well as in litigation related to additional tax measures imposed in the energy sector;
- in sensitive disputes surpassing EUR 57 connected to a restructuring of the shareholding in a controlled entity;
- in various potential transactions, performing due diligence analysis from an energy related point of view across the renewable energy sector and assistance in relation to regulatory matters on the development of projects in the renewable energy sector.
