Roxana specialises in competition, pharmaceutical and life sciences law. She provides day-to-day assistance on various competition law topics and is assisting clients during competition law investigations and merger control proceedings. Furthermore, Roxana provides assistance on various pharmaceutical and life sciences related issues.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
- one of the largest Romanian banks, in relation to two Competition Council investigations on the Romanian retail banking sector, concerning the setting of the ROBOR benchmark index (including in the litigation phase) and the FICO credit scoring system, respectively;
- a major international cement producer, in relation to an investigation launched by the Romanian Competition Council on the cement market, as well as in day-to-day competition compliance and in the context of transactions;
- three financial leasing companies, in relation to a Competition Council investigation on the financial leasing market, including in the litigation phase;
- two insurance companies, in relation to a Competition Council investigation on the insurance market;
- an international player on the coffee market, in respect of an investigation into vertical price fixing in the retail sector.
